So it's just one week until David and the band will be playing in Lebanon.

    Is anyone going?

This will be an semi acustic concert just like the Lucerne KKL gig!

This is so cool. Just look at the setting!

I wonder if this is seated or ga standing?

Now be our hero @nevermind and find us a live stream :)

Just like in Lucern, DG starts with a solo set:

    And now full band!

This was the last concert of the tour and David apparently enjoyed Beirut! I hope to see DG on tour again real soon!

Last nights gig 2 Match report: Wonderful enriching experience to have spent a few days in Lebanon. Everywhere we went the people were passionate, courteous and unstintingly generous. Impressions formed through the distorted prism of the western media paint a chaotic picture of violence and constant political upheaval. In marked contrast with this, the Lebanon that we encountered was filled with laughing, articulate, fun living people, eating, drinking and living for the moment. A special thank you to the festival organisers for looking after us so royally. I've never eaten so much in my life.....

I remember him in Lucerne saying that it would be his rehearsal for the next (i.e. Beirut) gig ;-)

how such a familiar song could bring tears to my eyes, the setting, the cello "weaping" , the state of the world, music heals. What a blessing he is to us. So good to hear his impression of what he encountered.
